The international company European Classical Ballet and Alpha FG Music present the famous classical ballet masterpiece *Swan Lake* in Switzerland.

Maia Makhateli — prima ballerina of the Dutch National Ballet, winner of the Dance Europe International Award “Dancer of the Year 2020,” the Alexandra Radius Award, and the Nina Ananiashvili & Gilbert Albert Star Award, as well as a guest prima ballerina at leading European and international theaters (Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Teatro Massimo, Greek National Opera, and Hong Kong Ballet).

“Swan Lake” is the most famous ballet in the world, a masterpiece of ballet art. This immortal classic has won the hearts of millions and has been delighting adults and children for over 100 years.

 

The ballet is based on the story of Prince Siegfried’s ideal and unattainable love for the enchanted beauty Odette, who takes the form of a swan. On their path to happiness, obstacles and trials await them, which they must overcome. The classical choreography, presentation, polished movements, soft and flowing adagios, magnificent synchrony, and the beauty of the performance—the entire production evokes genuine admiration. Highly artistic sets and costumes complete the picture, at times creating the illusion of being in a medieval castle, at other times transporting the audience to the shores of a fairy-tale lake. 

 

This ballet is renowned for its beauty and emotional depth. It is rightly considered a benchmark of high art, and many world-renowned dancers have been proud to have had the opportunity to perform a role in this production.
